Applying Patches - パッチの使い方 -
|Alice :||Mrs. Carl, here’s your husband’s prescription and a box of Nitroglycerin patches.|
|Mrs. Carl :||Thanks. My husband wants me to learn how to apply them. Can you explain it to me?|
|Alice :||Sure. First, wash your hands. Then choose a clean, dry, hairless spot on the upper body to apply the nitro patch. Hold the patch and peel off the protective plastic. Then press the sticky side of the patch against the skin and smooth it out. Finally, wash your hands again.|
|Mrs. Carl :||That’s sounds simple. When should he take it off?|
|Alice :||The doctor specifies your husband keep 8-hour nitrate-free intervals.|
|Mrs. Carl :||What does nitrate-free interval mean?|
|Alice :||After your husband removes the patch he has to wait 8 hours before applying the next one.|
|Mrs. Carl :||Can he take a shower while wearing it?|
|Alice :||Yes, but if the patch loosens or falls off, change it with a fresh one. After the shower, wait for the skin to dry. Choose a different area each day to prevent skin irritation.|
|Mrs. Carl :||Great, thanks for your help.|
|Alice :||You’re welcome. Have a great day.|
