Rejection Letter 1
Dear Ms. Cruz,
We have reviewed your application for the position of Marketing Manager at Home Department. However, we received applications from other more experienced candidates.
So, we will not be scheduling an interview with you at this time. In the future, we encourage you to apply for open positions that you qualify for.
Thank you again for your application and best wishes on your job search.
Rejection Letter 2
Dear Ms. Cruz,
Thank you very much for visiting our office the other day. Your educational background and qualifications are superb.
However, we have decided to hire another candidate at this time. Honestly this decision was really difficult for us. The other candidate has more experience in this industry. He does not need to be trained so he can contribute to our company immediately.
We all wish you success in finding a new position. And we will keep your name in our file for future reference.
Thank you very much.
Think about it
- Have you ever seen someone's application form that you thought you cannot hire?
- Have you done any interview with someone whom you thought you cannot hire?
Based on your answer from “Think about it” or dialogue, please type two types of rejection letter in the chat box.
One for a candidate with whom you held an interview, and one for a candidate whom you decided not to hold an interview.
